Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading box truck using carts, dollies, furniture covers
• Helping customers schedule donation pickups or deliveries
• Setting up merchandise displays and shifting items as new treasures arrive
• Handling donated items with care
• Testing appliances/electronics before they hit the sales floor
• Running the cash register and assisting customers with purchases or donations
• Keeping aisles clear, areas tidy, and the store safe for everyone
• Helping lock up and secure the building and equipment

Requirements

• Valid Florida driver's license
• Strong communication and people skills
• A knack for organizing anything—from boxes to furniture layouts
• Solid time management skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Comfort using tech (phones, maps, social apps, Microsoft Office)
• Professional, courteous attitude when working with customers, donors, vendors, or volunteers
• Willingness to adapt to changing tasks throughout the day
• Ability to drive a 26‑foot box truck
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years retail or customer service experience
• Ability to operate a POS/cash register
• Ability to pass required background checks and maintain a drug‑free workplace
• Physical requirements: walking, lifting, bending, reaching, crouching, and helping customers for much of the day
