Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensures each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all products sold in store.
  • Responsible for verification and balancing of all appropriate reports.
  • Runs general errands including accompanying security personnel to make money deposits, etc.
  • Participates in the training of all new and current attendants.
  • Maintains an adequate inventory to meet daily needs of the store and promotes items to improve sales volume.
  • Confers regularly with Manager(s) to communicate customer/employee requests and keeps informed of any changes in operating procedures.
  • Affords assistance with the maintenance and enforcement of procedures that comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regulating tobacco and alcohol products.
  • Ensures that all applicable store operating policies and procedures are always adhered to without deviation.
  • Safeguards the physical condition of the premises is maintained in a safe, healthy manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager(s).

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years of verifiable related employment experience or a combination of education and verifiable related employment experience required.
  • Must have working knowledge of computers with the ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and use all equipment and register system necessary to run the store.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to perform all aspects of this position adequately and successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Willing to work irregular hours/days as business dictates.
  • Ability to move or manage merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the CIEDA Personnel Policies and Procedures.
