Retail Sales Representative – PT (NYC)

About the role

Established 75‑year‑old family business C.A. Ferolie is seeking a part‑time Retail Representative to work in supermarkets across Queens, Brooklyn, and nearby areas. The role involves traveling to multiple store locations daily, using a company‑provided tablet to record activities, and representing the company’s standards on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform in‑store visits to ensure projects meet company standards.
• Correct item voids by creating shelf labels and ordering necessary items.
• Complete surveys to collect accurate information for the corporate office.
• Set up displays and signage as needed.
• Ensure new items are cut in and in good selling condition.
• Download and print merchandising directives for in‑store visits.
• Use a computer tablet (provided) to record all activities performed during visits.
• Maintain good business relationships with store management and retail associates.
• Lift up to 50 lb as required.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Own reliable transportation (car) to travel to designated stores.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations daily.
• Valid driver’s license (must pass driver’s license check).
• Reliable and responsible work ethic.
• Good communication skills for interacting with store management and retail associates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
