Retail Sales Lead, Fabletics (The Mall in Columbia - Columbia, MD)

Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for our retail store at The Mall in Columbia, MD. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales and operations, leveraging technology to bridge online and in-store shopping.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you’ll take charge of creating a best-in-class customer experience, collaborating with a driven Store Manager, supervisors, and a passionate team. You’ll engage customers in meaningful ways, drive store events and community projects, and help the team meet performance goals. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics’ culture and values, providing customers with insights on living their passion.
• Engage customers by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Train and provide feedback to associates on the Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store merchandising guidelines to improve the shopping experience.
• Provide and receive feedback to continuously improve store operations.
• Strive to meet and exceed store objectives for performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Serve as a resource for product knowledge for customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales targets and achieve sales goals.
• Uphold safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Assist with unpacking inventory boxes (10-30 lbs).

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail work experience; prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of active lifestyle choices (e.g., yoga, cycling, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, take initiative, and bring out the best in others.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and P.O.S. systems.
• Self-motivated, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing ladders.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
