Retail Sales Lead, Fabletics (Streets at Southpoint - Durham, NC)

Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for our retail store at Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales and operations, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bridge the gap between our website and retail stores.

As a Sales Lead, you’ll collaborate with a driven Store Manager, dedicated supervisors, and a passionate team to help customers live their passion. This is a high-energy role for a self-starter who thrives on engaging with people and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Embody our culture and values while providing customers with insights on how to live their passion.
• Engage customers in meaningful ways by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of our products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Train and provide immediate feedback to associates on the Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to create an easy-to-shop environment that adds value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Provide and nourish feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh 10-30 lbs).

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience within a retail environment.
• Prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as Yoga, Cycling/Spin, Pilates, Weight Training, Running, Nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store environment.
• Ability to work with large teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and P.O.S. systems.
• Self-motivated, with strong communication skills and an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Physical requirements: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
