Retail Part-Time Store Associate, Fabletics (Streets at Southpoint - Durham, NC)

Fabletics is seeking driven Part-Time Store Associates for our location at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC. You’ll work alongside the Store Manager, supervisors, and a team of associates to deliver a best-in-class retail experience, blending in-store and online shopping for our customers.

About the role

As a Store Associate, you’ll help customers Live their Passion by providing expert guidance on fabrics, features, fit, and function of our products. You’ll drive engagement through in-store events, promotions, and community projects while maintaining merchandising standards and sales goals. This role involves constant movement, including standing for extended periods, lifting boxes (10–30 lbs), and occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics’ culture and values while assisting customers with product knowledge and lifestyle insights.
• Engage customers in-store and beyond through events, promotions, and community initiatives.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store merchandising guidelines to simplify shopping and add value to purchases.
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve store operations.
• Meet or exceed store objectives for performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to team targets.
• Uphold safety and security standards, reporting potential issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory tasks, including unpacking and organizing shipments.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of active lifestyle choices (e.g., yoga, cycling, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.
