Retail Sales Lead, Fabletics (Streets at Southpoint - Durham, NC)
About the role
Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for its retail store at Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC. This role involves leading the customer experience, managing inventory, and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide insight to customers on how to live their passion through product knowledge and engagement.
- Engage customers in store events, promotions, and community projects.
- Train and provide feedback to associates on the Customer Experience Playbook and other performance expectations.
- Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain store merchandising guidelines and ensure the shopping experience is smooth and valuable.
- Participate in providing feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
- Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and team members.
- Achieve sales goals and maintain a personal sales record.
- Maintain all safety and security standards and identify potential issues.
- Unpack boxes for inventory as required.
Requirements
- 1-year minimum of work experience within a retail environment.
- Prior retail management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
- Ability to socialize with customers, employees, and business partners in various settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High comfort level with ambiguity and the ability to take initiative.
- Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
- Self-motivation, effective communication, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility in work hours, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work onsite and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
