Retail Sales & Design Consultant

About This Role

We're seeking a charismatic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales & Design Consultant.

What You'll Do

• Sell flooring, window treatments, kitchen and bath design & more to retail customers.
• Interact with customers on the showroom floor, determining their wants and needs, and providing personalized service.
• Stay up-to-date on our wide selection of floors, including benefits and warranties.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing solutions to meet their unique needs.
• Write and process sales orders efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure seamless job completion by working closely with customers and store employees.
• Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
• Network regularly, staying connected with the community and driving new business.
• Implement targeted sales strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Manage customer transactions, including receiving payment and obtaining credit authorization.
• Utilize our computer database to research merchandise availability and process orders.
• Follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner to address requests and concerns.
• Provide expert advice on flooring & remodeling, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Offer design and decorating guidance to customers, helping them find the perfect solution.
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Identify new business opportunities and prospect for growth.

• Able to provide outstanding customer service.
• Able to provide exceptional follow-up.
• A self-starter.
• Personally well-organized.
• Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training to become certified.
• Willing to divide work time between the showroom floor and prospecting for new clients.
• Willing to create new business.
• Some additional qualifications include:
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Open and flexible work availability, including weekends.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems.
• A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design.
• Some college is preferred, but not necessary.
• Retail sales experience is strongly preferred.

Benefits

This Retail Sales & Design Consultant role pays $30,000 to $100,000/Yr. and is Full Time.
