Retail Sales Associate - Receiving (Trent Location)

About the Role

North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA (Trent Location) is looking for a Full-Time Receiving Associate to join our team. As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe movement of merchandise from the moment it leaves a truck until it is placed onto the sales floor.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm, including weekends and certain holidays. Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs is required, and the candidate must have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently move merchandise from delivery trucks to the sales floor.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative independently.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focused.
• Engage effectively with team members and customers.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (certification required).
• Follow correct lifting and loading techniques.
• Spend 100% of work time on your feet, using ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks.

• Receiving and/or warehouse experience is helpful.
• Physical ability to lift and carry:
  • 0-25 lbs. continuously
  • 25-45 lbs. frequently
  • 45-65 lbs. occasionally
  • Team lift anything over 65 lbs.
