Retail Sales Associate - Novi

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
• Aid customers by escorting them directly to racks and counters, and/or suggesting items
• Advise customers by providing accurate information on products
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence through offering suggestions and opinions
• Accept payments by totaling purchases and processing checks, cash, or credit cards
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
• Setup and display products and merchandise through the store
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store and merchandise
• Help maintain accurate inventory records

Qualifications

• Liking to provide outstanding customer service, meet new people, and reconnect with familiar customers
• Enjoying exceeding a person’s expectations
• Having previous experience providing excellent customer service being an advantage
• Being approachable and hospitable
• Communicating in a clear and friendly manner, and loving to share your love for Boyne's products and services
• Wishing to be part of a close-knit team
• Knowing the value of looking out for the best interests of your fellow team members and helping maintain a fun work environment
• Being flexible and always willing to learn more
• Understanding the demands of exceeding customer needs and being able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Being able to physically lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Having a high school diploma or equivalent, comfortable handling payment transactions, and having basic computer skills
