Project Manager Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid) Salary Range: $106,000 - $126,000Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Denver team and lead retail and commercial projects through all phases of design and construction. This role is responsible for overseeing project teams, managing client relationships, coordinating consultants, and ensuring successful project execution while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and experience managing fast-paced projects from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities Lead project teams through all phases of design, permitting, and construction.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies.Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and overall project performance.Mentor and support architects, designers, and junior staff, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.Direct internal and external project meetings, facilitating communication among stakeholders and resolving project challenges.Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants to ensure project requirements are met.Oversee quality control efforts and ensure the accuracy and completeness of project documentation.Guide teams through permit reviews, agency approvals, and responses to jurisdictional comments.Provide construction administration services, including site visits, RFIs, submittal reviews, change requests, and contractor coordination.Forecast staffing, utilization, and resource needs to support project and business objectives.Assist with project accounting, invoicing, collections, and contract administration.Identify opportunities for additional services and support ongoing business development initiatives.Provide regular project status updates to leadership.Participate in proposal development, contract negotiations, staff performance reviews, and candidate interviews.Travel as needed to support project and client needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience.Architectural licensure preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.Experience managing retail projects from concept design through construction and occupancy.Advanced understanding of building systems, construction methods, materials, accessibility requirements, and applicable building codes.Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Proven leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.Ability to effectively manage client relationships and consultant coordination.Willingness to travel as required. Preferred Experience Retail architecture, prototype programs, rollout programs, tenant improvements, and branded environments.Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.Business development and identifying opportunities for expanded services.Managing project budgets, billing, and financial performance.Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and local jurisdictions throughout all project phases.Improving production processes and project delivery efficiencies.Forecasting project staffing and resource allocation.Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
