About the role

JARS Cannabis is a culturally inspired organization dedicated to providing high-quality cannabis products and services. We are seeking a Retail Representative who shares our passion for exceptional customer service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses customer needs and provides accurate, efficient transactions
  • Uses suggestive selling strategies and upsells to customers
  • Absorbs constructive feedback and coaching from upper management
  • Assists with inventory tasks as needed
  • Works scheduled shifts and adheres to company attendance policy
  • Fulfills safety and MED rules and policies
  • Promotes JARS customer perks and maintains a positive attitude
  • Maintains sales floor neatness and organization
  • Fills in during short-staffing situations and is open to cross-training
  • Listens and responds to customer and coworker needs in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid Colorado MED Employee License (MED Badge) required
  • Successful completion of MED's fingerprint-based background check
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledgeable about cannabis strains and applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications
  • Cannabis industry or health industry experience highly desirable

Pay and Schedule

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. JARS Cannabis will not seek prior salary history and will not use salary history to determine compensation, in compliance with Colorado law. Shifts available include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, with options for day shifts, weekends, holidays, and events.
