Retail Pharmacist - Per Diem

About the role

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to cover or provide overlap for the current pharmacy manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy relationships with health center clients, including interacting with clinic providers and their clinical staff.
• Provide drug-related education and act as a member of the patient care team.
• Attend clinical meetings.
• Demonstrate the highest standard of patient quality care, from advising on prescriptions to helping chronic and specialty conditions.
• Lead and direct pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.
• Manage staff pharmacist and technicians, addressing knowledge gaps through education and training.
• Oversee pharmacy operational management, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Stay current with HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse credentialing.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Ensure awareness and compliance with local facilities policies.

Qualifications

• Required Education & Licenses: Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university; required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations.
• Preferred Experience and Skills: Minimum 2 years pharmacy experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional patient service skills.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Varying hours, Monday through Friday, no major holidays, no weekend coverage available.
