Pharmacist Retail - Per Diem

Position Highlights

The position is for a Pharmacist at Elmhurst Hospital, Per Diem, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What You Will Need

• Education: Pharm D. from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
• Clinical Residency or 2 years clinic pharmacy practice experience (Preferred)
• Required License/Certification: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License, Current CPR Certification, Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification

What You Will Do

Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, and the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication related problems through intervention with physicians. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication availability. Follows established policies, procedures, protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements in executing job responsibilities.

Pay

$58.00 - $89.90 per hour, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.
