Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing “total solutions” to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. They are expected to build and maintain customer relationships, support sales offerings, and contribute to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function to drive overall store sales.
- Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to ensure correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Communicate effectively to request assistance and coordinate service for customers.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; support loss prevention efforts.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Drive positive client satisfaction levels, coach and train associates, and develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening/closing duties and Leader on Duty functions.
- Ensure safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service; basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems; attention to detail; experience in Print Services is preferred.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour, with compliance with state and local minimum wages.
