Retail Merchandiser - Electronics - Full Time

About the role

Transform and elevate the retail experience by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays at major retail establishments. Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and others.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory
• Reset product as directed by call reports and plan-o-grams
• Ensure product shelves are properly maintained and stocked
• Perform product audits
• Set up new electronics products, wiring the power and data connections and setting security devices
• Build endcaps (may involve building the display from assorted parts, using tools)
• Replace signage and point-of-purchase (POP) materials
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit
• Travel out of district when needed; opportunities for additional hours if covering a larger region

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability (laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportation
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50–100 lbs without assistance

Schedule

• 32–40 hours per week
• Open availability required
• Flexible hours Monday through Friday, typically between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (no weekends required)
• Project hours and times fluctuate

Pay

$18 per hour. Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need.
