Retail Merchandiser - Electronics - Full Time

Location: Union, NJ and surrounding area

About the role

Transform and elevate the retail experience by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays for innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and others. This position involves store visits to major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, and Target within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising projects at assigned retail locations.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit.

Schedule

• 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility required Monday through Friday, typically between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
• No evening hours required.

Pay

• General merchandising projects: $18.00 per hour.
• Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, and read planograms accurately.
• Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Flexible, team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.
• Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability (laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportation.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
