About the role
This role puts you at the center of retail operations, where your ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive customer satisfaction will be key to success. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping both team performance and customer experience. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
Responsibilities
- Drive daily operations to deliver smooth, efficient, and high-impact retail experiences
- Lead, coach, and grow a motivated team of frontline staff and supervisors
- Build strong connections with customers and ensure their needs are met with care and consistency
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure POS systems are running accurately and efficiently
- Partner with vendors to keep products flowing and compliance on track
- Bring merchandising and marketing strategies to life, keeping displays fresh and engaging
- Champion a safe, clean, and organized space by upholding all sanitation and safety standards
Requirements
- A sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering consistent, customer-first service
- Solid experience managing cash handling processes and POS systems with accuracy and accountability
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence
- Creative thinking and a willingness to try new ideas to enhance merchandising, marketing, or customer engagement
Qualifications
- Education Requirement: High school/GED or equivalent, or Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree
- Management Experience: 0-3 years
- Related Experience: 0-3 years
Pay
Pay Range: $61,710 – $79,860 per year
