Retail Maintenance Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Retail Maintenance Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction estimating, materials, and experience preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of tenant improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit maintenance proposals within the scope of framing, concrete, drywall, tile, flooring and demolition
- Interpret and review blueprints, project schematics and/or specifications to determine material and labor requirements
- Obtain and reference pricing from internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Perform high-volume data entry to maintain and update estimating software and databases
- Incorporate current industry trends, materials, and best practices into project estimates
- Perform additional clerical duties as assigned to support the department
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in estimating construction projects
- Proficient utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient alpha-numeric data entry with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Proficiency in construction math, including measurements, unit conversions, area and volume calculations

Pay
$25 to $30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
