Retail Keyholder - Merrell

About the role

Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel, and accessories with a portfolio including Bates, Chaco, Cat Footwear, Harley Davidson Footwear, Merrell, Saucony, Sweaty Betty and Wolverine. We are looking for someone responsible, reliable, service oriented who likes to have fun while they work—someone to support the team in alignment with our values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager. You will be a role model, remaining calm under pressure, stepping in as needed, and serving as a fountain of knowledge on product and standards. You can be relied upon to assist with administrative, operational, and general store security duties.

Responsibilities

• Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store including opening and closing, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and well-presented store at all times
• Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge
• Create amazing experiences for customers through authentic customer service that leaves a lasting impression
• Achieve sales goals and performance metrics, driving the store's success by being an ambassador and supporting local marketing efforts
• Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager
• Maintain compliance with company policies including health and safety regulations and inventory management
• Take ownership of stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines, contributing to and delivering on store KPIs

Qualifications

• Demonstrated retail sales success
• Experience working in a customer-facing role
• Supervisory experience preferred but not essential
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Passion for our brands and brand lifestyles
• High School diploma or equivalent
