Retail Keyholder - Merrell

About the role

Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel, and accessories with an established footprint spanning approximately 200 countries and territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable, service-oriented, and able to have fun while working. You will support the team in alignment with company values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager, serving as a role model who remains cool and collected under pressure. You will be a fountain of knowledge on product and standards, assist with administrative and operational duties, and ensure general store security.

Responsibilities

• Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store, including opening and closing, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and well-presented store at all times.
• Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to product knowledge.
• Create amazing experiences for customers through authentic service that leaves a lasting impression.
• Achieve sales goals and performance metrics, drive store success as an ambassador, and support local marketing efforts.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by the manager.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations and inventory management.
• Take ownership of stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines, contributing to and delivering on store KPIs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Demonstrated retail sales success.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role.
• Supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for Wolverine Worldwide’s brands and brand lifestyles.
