Responsible for creating accurate descriptions and capturing high-quality images of the store’s selection of used firearms, uploading content to the used firearm online website, and maintaining an up-to-date, high-quality inventory. Assists in used firearm sales through customer interaction via email, mail, telephone, and in-person contact.
Responsibilities
- Create and upload accurate descriptions and high-quality images of used firearms.
- Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date online inventory by adding and deleting firearms as they are acquired, disposed of, or transferred.
- Evaluate and purchase used firearms, ensure proper entry into the bound book, and process customer payments.
- Initiate 4473 forms with customers and conduct final checks of all applicable company, state, and federal forms before firearm transfers.
- Assist in used firearm sales through customer interaction via email, mail, telephone, and personal contact.
- Provide legendary customer service by greeting, consulting, and assisting customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions.
- Process firearms transactions efficiently and in accordance with all internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Produce monthly sales audit reports for used firearms online activities.
- Acquire all firearms legally in compliance with ATF, state, and local laws, including completing required forms, conducting background checks, and ensuring legality of sales.
- Assist with the acquisition, receipt, and preparation of firearms for retail sale, including mounting optics, safely checking/clearing firearms, and completing company forms.
- Evaluate and appraise used firearms using historical knowledge and resources.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues using good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain visual standards, including restocking, remerchandising, cleaning fixtures, and general housekeeping.
- Participate in ongoing training, including firearms and shooting product information, compliance training, and selling skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to safely handle firearms and adhere to all company, state, and federal firearms regulations.
- Ability to provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions.
- Ability to operate a camera and computer to upload photos and maintain descriptions.
- Knowledge of purchasing firearms, either through industry experience or personal collecting.

- Light work involving constantly moving objects up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift and move objects weighing 100 pounds or more (team lift as needed).
