Retail HBRP - Fully Onsite - $95K

The client is a global luxury retail brand expanding its US presence, seeking an HRBP to support the growing retail workforce across several locations. This role is the sole HR presence in the US, working closely with local leadership and an established global HR team.

About the role

Act as the primary HR point of contact for all US retail employees, processing payroll through ADP, ensuring compliance with New York labor laws, and supporting retail managers with employee relations, recruitment, and performance management. Manage benefits administration, lead open enrollment, and track key people metrics while contributing to global HR projects.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for retail employees (hourly, tips, expenses, etc.) via ADP
• Ensure compliance with New York labor laws and company handbooks
• Support retail managers with employee relations, recruitment, and escalations
• Administer benefits (medical, dental, vision) and act as vendor/broker liaison
• Lead open enrollment and track/report key people metrics
• Contribute to global HR projects and own end-to-end HR processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or similar role
• Strong background in retail and/or hospitality, preferably in New York
• Hands-on payroll experience (hourly, tips, expenses)
• Deep knowledge of NY labor laws
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
