Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Merchandising to coordinate data submissions for retail pricing, authorizations, and item changes
- Ensure timely processing and return of submitted items to PDI/Pricebook Services or vendors
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate performance reports from FocalPoint (Merchandise tab)
- Cook up and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Cook up and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Coordinate and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Coordinate and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Coordinate and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Coordinate and deliver periodic promotional plans for system implementation
- Manage Pricebook Cost Exceptions (PBEC)
- Triage store-level exceptions and route issues to appropriate teams for resolution
- Review Pricebook data and related modules to support analysis and issue resolution
- Partner with vendors and internal departments to address Price Book-related issues
- Analyze pricing and cost changes (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly), including profit trends and vendor validation
- Prepare reports for new and updated items impacting retail pricing
- Communicate insights and updates across departments to ensure alignment
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Support additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- A High School Diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, customer service, or a related field
- Direct convenience store industry experience preferred
- Experience with PDI/Enterprise systems required
- PDI Price Book experience (a plus)
- Accounting experience (a plus)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with departments and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Excel and spreadsheets)
- Familiarity with database analysis and reporting; SQL experience is a plus
- Understanding of retail systems, pricing structures, and product categories
- Initiative-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
