Responsibilities
- Administer and analyze contracts
- Maintain customer pricing in SAP
- Group maintenance
- Expediting order exceptions with regional buying groups, medical surgical distribution companies, integrated health systems, and individual facilities
- Assist with national group purchasing organizations
- Administers contract maintenance process
- Ensures signed and executed agreements are followed and pricing is loaded accurately
- Reviews and approves pricing requests
- Manages contracts from RFP stage to contract initiation, performs contract maintenance, and sales reporting
- Maintains group membership lists, group maintenance requests, hierarchy changes, pricing for contracts, and group communications
- Affords assistance with implementation of national agreements
- Interacts and serves as a point of contact with customers, distributors, and internal management
- Prepares slides for Price Committee
- Prepares sales history, ASP, and impact analysis for assigned national group purchasing organizations, regional buying groups, integrated health systems, and individual contracts
- Prepares, reviews, and approves final commitment documents
- Follows through with field offices, corporate sales directors, and national group headquarters to ensure commitment levels are accurate, approved by the appropriate people, and assigned to the proper pricing level
- Maintains product line technical expertise
- Develops and prepares reports to analyze Zimmer Biomet sales, average selling prices, and price impact analysis as necessary
Qualifications
- Demonstrate analytical skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of sales reporting and ability to learn new software applications and job skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints
- Orthopedic industry experience
- Influence the direction of our internal and external customers in regards to contract management
- Recognize opportunities, help to improve existing processes while prioritizing and adjusting work in a flexible manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
- Thoroughly understands and applies good contract management principles
