Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Store Supervisor role at Office Depot is a full-time position focusing on providing comprehensive solutions across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, and driving sales through effective communication and service.
Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of trust and exceptional service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution and additional product/service solutions.
- Educate customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Coordinate service requests and customer engagement throughout the store.
- Evaluate customer needs to determine the total solution.
- Guide, direct, and train store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions and observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of other managers.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
- Participate in external key carrier responsibilities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of related experience, and a strong passion for sales, service, and technology products. Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including use of relevant equipment and POS systems, is preferred.
