Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Store Supervisor role at Office Depot is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on Technology products/services and print offerings, and driving sales through effective sales techniques.
Responsibilities
- Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Educate customers on how to use relevant equipment and POS systems.
- Coordinate the appropriate service and customer engagement throughout the store.
- Evaluate the customer’s needs to determine the total solution.
- Guide, direct, and train store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing responsibilities, activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus. 1–3 years related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including use of relevant equipment and POS systems.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is 17.00 to 20.00, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
