Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Store Supervisor role at Office Depot is a full-time position focusing on providing comprehensive solutions across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers to become their go-to advisor on Technology products/services and print offerings. The Store Supervisor demonstrates a strong passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, services, print, and other products/services we offer. They utilize and understand Office Depot’s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers and drive sales of our complete range of offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Evaluate the customer’s needs to determine the total solution.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring regular loss prevention compliance, and assisting with the General Manager in providing guidance and effective coaching to associates for improved performance.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus.
- 1-3 years related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong selling, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and train others; works well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using technology and systems to complete daily responsibilities.
- Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict management, time management, and business acumen.
- Drives for results, directs others effectively, makes sound decisions, and collaborates well.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $13.96/hr to $20.88/hr, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
