Retail Floor Associate (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, helpful customer service at all times
• Greet each customer with a smile and ask, “What can I help you find today?”
• Walk customers directly to products and ensure they have everything needed for their project
• Stock shelves, back stock, and warehouse inventory
• Front and face merchandise as directed by your manager
• Read and communicate product instructions effectively
• Operate scanners, registers, and point-of-sale (POS) systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Routine bending, climbing, twisting, and reaching
• Lift and move products up to 50 lbs
• Manual dexterity for handling merchandise and transactions
• Able to read product labels and communicate clearly with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail experience (hardware or home improvement a plus)
• Familiarity with hardware-related products and common DIY/home improvement projects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
