Retail Associate - eCommerce Quality Control Coordinator

About the role

As an eCommerce Quality Control Coordinator at Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, you will evaluate, catalog, and either accept or reject incoming eCommerce items from stores, using your knowledge and experience to determine whether each item is worth entering the listing process. After evaluation, you will load and transport the items to the eCommerce Sellers team, control the flow of products from stores into the listing process, and ensure the overall quality of items that move forward. Your work supports Goodwill’s mission of job skills training and employment services by identifying valuables and selling them online, and you will be part of a fast‑growing team dedicated to maximizing the value of donations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, catalog, and accept or reject incoming eCommerce items from stores.
• Use knowledge and experience to determine whether an item is worth going through the listing process.
• Load and transport accepted items to the eCommerce Sellers team.
• Control the flow of products from stores into the listing process.
• Ensure the overall quality of items that proceed through the process.
• Support Goodwill’s mission by identifying valuables and selling them online.
• Contribute to a fast‑growing team focused on maximizing donation value.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including frequent standing, bilateral reach, and handling ability; constant fingering and pinch grip; frequent ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.; may require shoulder height reaching with either hand and firm grasp; frequent bending; may squat; frequent ability to push/pull less than 25 lbs.
• Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
