Retail Associate

About the role

The Inn at Perry Cabin is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. This individual will generate revenue and sales transactions through excellent product knowledge and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a great relationship with all guests and team members
• Create unique and creative retail displays
• Assist in creating unique and creative retail displays
• Master the POS system
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of the hotel/resort and all events, amenities, and directions to assist guests
• Maintain a cash bank
• Be highly organized with a strong understanding of where products can be found in the store
• Keep the area clean
• Ensure guest satisfaction; resolve issues creatively
• Comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, check total verification, tip disbursement, cash drawer and house bank management
• Balance house bank at the end of the shift
• Retrieve and return bank from vault to workstation and ensure accountability

• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to frequently bend, push/pull, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

$17.00 per hour
