Retail Associate

About the role

This entry-level role supports day-to-day store operations while assisting customers, maintaining merchandise, and keeping the sales floor organized. On-site environment: This is an on-site position. The work is performed in a store, stockroom, warehouse, distribution center, production facility, or similar physical work environment, with regular face-to-face interaction with customers, coworkers, supervisors, drivers, or other onsite teams as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide in-person assistance
• Stock, recover, organize, and merchandise products
• Answer basic product and store-policy questions
• Support checkout, returns, fitting rooms, or other store functions as assigned

Qualifications

Prior experience is helpful but is not required for many roles when employer training is provided.

Skills

A strong entry-level candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to communicate clearly with others, attentive to accuracy and safety, and willing to learn established procedures.
