Position Summary

This position is to assist all of our guests when it comes to merchandising for the Miami Heat. This position entails on stocking, visual merchandising and cashier duties. Excellent customer service skills are expected at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cashier (Dealing with Fiscal Transactions)
• Restocking and tagging merchandise
• Providing exceptional customer service

Education And/or Experience

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight, measurement, volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• The employee is also frequently required to walk for long periods of time and stand/sit occasionally.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
• The noise level in the work environment is loud when working events (games, concerts, etc.).
• The employee must work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
