About the role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Junior or Mid-Level Associate in the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice of their Salt Lake City office.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients, large and small, from various industries across the country.
- Develop creative and effective strategies for in- and out-of-court reorganizations, restructurings, workouts, liquidations, and distressed acquisitions and sales, both domestically and in cross-border proceedings.
- Participate in out-of-court restructurings, debt exchange transactions, and appear in court to draft pleadings.
- Draft transactional documents for M&A and finance transactions.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of general restructuring and bankruptcy experience related to Creditor’s rights, distressed M&A, bankruptcy litigation, and cross-border insolvency matters.
- Experience with out-of-court restructurings, debt exchange transactions, and drafting transactional documents for M&A and finance transactions.
Qualifications
- Excellent law school qualifications.
- In good standing with the Utah State Bar.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
