Restructuring Associate

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters. Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
• Work with attorneys across the firm on multiple projects and deadlines
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing

Qualifications

• Record of academic and professional excellence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities

Skills

• Experience in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
• Experience with cross-border matters
• Deposition and trial preparation experience

Pay

$235,000 - $310,000, depending on experience
