Job Summary
The Nevada Gaming Control Board is recruiting for a Restricted Agent, Investigations Division in Las Vegas or Carson City. The ideal candidate is a detail-focused and ethical professional who analyzes financial data, identifies irregularities, and ensures compliance with tax laws through thorough and objective investigation.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, administration of justice, economics, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or other applicable degree
- Experience with an organization conducting financial analysis and/or law enforcement investigations
- An equivalent combination of education and professional level experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, financial planning, internal revenue service, income tax preparation, budgeting, taxation, banking, finance, securities, legal research, real estate investment management, business or public administration involving budget preparation and business development, or business management and planning and/or investigative experience involving white collar crime, drug trafficking or money laundering, detective bureau, organized crime, intelligence collection, fraud, or closely related experience
Job Duties
Under limited supervision, this Agent position will perform the full range of duties in the investigation of complex and/or time sensitive applications as well as other transactions or issues requiring Board and Nevada Gaming Commission (Commission) action; prepare comprehensive reports for presentation to the Board and Commission; complete administrative responsibilities; and perform related work as required.
