• Provide engineering support for interior restraint systems, including: Passenger airbags, Curtain airbags, Seatbelts
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure correct and timely data uploads into OEM systems, support part updates and engineering changes, align tooling timing with program milestones
• Lead and support DV/PV testing activities for restraint systems, drive fast and effective issue resolution through all build phases
• Obtain and manage B-Release approvals for restraint system components, support supplier builds, On-site vehicle builds, pre-production and production launch activities, modify components based on engineering, safety, and design inputs
• Ensure quality compliance using DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans

8+ years of experience in interior restraint systems engineering
Proven experience supporting restraint systems through all development phases
Strong working knowledge of restraint system requirements and safety standards
Hands-on experience with DV/PV testing for restraint systems
Proficiency in CATIA, including: Pulling data, Cutting and analyzing sections
Strong understanding of automotive quality processes
Ability to quickly resolve complex engineering issues
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work on-site and take direction from lead engineering teams

Prior experience working within legacy OEM engineering systems
Familiarity with global OEM product development processes
