Restoration Technician (Downers)
ServiceMaster DSI is the largest ServiceMaster franchise in the world, providing restoration services in Downers Grove, IL and surrounding areas.
About the role
We are looking for a skilled carpet, tile, upholstery, and air duct cleaning technician with experience and knowledge in cleaning carpet, tile and grout, upholstery, and air ducts. Must have experience using a portable or truck-mounted unit. Cross-training will be provided as a Restoration Technician in water, fire, and mold during slower working times.
Job assignments may include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to customer locations.
- Execute all work to meet or exceed federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
- Become proficient in upsells and maintaining a client base.
- Work in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, while prioritizing safety.
Requirements
- Experience in carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, and air duct cleaning.
- Experience using a portable or truck-mounted cleaning unit.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
- Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
- Must pass drug and background check.
- Previous restoration experience is a plus.
