Restoration Crew Chief

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of disaster restoration industry (Water, Fire, Mold)
• Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
• Coach and train restoration technicians and ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs
• Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site
• Performs daily monitoring and required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency
• Completes sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software
• Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for certification of satisfaction
• Maintain inventory of supplies

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction
• Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required
• Certifications required: OCT – Odor Control Technician
• Certifications are preferred, but not required: ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, OCT – Odor Control Technician

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance)
• Climb ladders
• Work at ceiling heights
• Work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
