About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor assists management in the daily operations of the establishment, focusing on providing exceptional service and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assists GM/Hospitality Manager in adhering to customer service and labor efficiency standards.
• Maintains sanitation procedures and ensures daily and weekly checklists are completed.
• Ensures proper rotation of food products to maintain quality and minimize waste.
• Monitors food preparation and freshness to serve quality food.
• Ensures kitchen and service team members have all necessary tools and provides training.
• Develops sales techniques to increase guest counts and check averages.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper sanitation of all equipment and stock areas.
• Ensures compliance with safe food handling and safety procedures.
• Provides friendly and competent customer service.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three to six months of restaurant, retail, or customer service experience.
• Serv-Safe Certified.
• Effectively manages multiple tasks.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and handles stressful situations.
• Has PC software experience with POS System.
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Understands and adheres to safe food handling and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Professional and respectful demeanor.
• Positive attitude to promote teamwork.
• Flexible to adapt to changes.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of trade secrets.
• Well-groomed and properly attired.
• Able to work special events, holidays, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and phone.
• Communicates in English.
