Restaurant Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Uphold Invited’s service standards as outlined in the service training program.
- Oversee the service of food and beverages to members and guests, ensuring adherence to the Invited’s standards of service and excellence.
- Directly and indirectly supervise service staff to ensure consistent service quality and exceptional member and guest experience.
- Accurately execute member and guest orders and special requests.
- Assist in implementing training and incentive programs to maintain a well-trained staff focused on achieving service excellence, in alignment with the food & beverage service training program.
- Review reservation books and function sheets for your shift, ensuring room setups align with booking and event requirements.
- Initiate opening procedures for breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts, and complete the required closing procedures.
- Inspect the cleanliness and setup of rooms, ensuring they are prepared for the next service or event and are ready for members.
- Document tasks and notes in the shift log to ensure effective communication for the following shift.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu, including daily features and specials.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of all liquors, beers, and wines available at the club.
- Actively participate in daily line-ups, weekly service trainings meetings, and special training sessions as requested.
- Ensure completion of daily assignments and side work to club standards, including maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and restocking supplies as needed.
- Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests to enhance their experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant or club-related field within the food & beverage industry.
- PREFERRED: Certifications: ServeSafe Food Handlers’ Certificate, ABC Certification, and CPR Certification.
- Completion of all food & beverage online training modules: Service Training, Host Training, Bartender Training, Server Assistant Training, Banquet Server Training, Beverage Cart Attendant Training, Kitchen, Employee Training, F&B Refresh Training, Culinary Safety, Food Safety, and Alcohol Safety.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.
