About the role
The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, MA is seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Supervisor for one of its five venues. This position oversees aspects of the dining experience within our club.
Responsibilities
- Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
- Acts as a liaison between wait staff and the kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications.
- Maintains the cleanliness, stockage, and organization of the restaurant and its facilities.
- Completes side work, including cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
- Assists the Food & Beverage Manager in managing food and beverage inventory.
- Participates in pre-shift meetings to discuss specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
- Serves tables, busses tables, seats guests, and performs other duties as needed.
- Addresses complaints and resolves issues.
- Coordinates with hosts, servers, and bussers to ensure smooth operations.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous point of sales experience.
- Previous supervisory role preferred.
