Restaurant Supervisor
The Chatham Inn is Cape Cod’s only Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, a luxurious boutique property with 18 guest rooms blending historic charm with modern decor and amenities. Cuvee, our fine dining restaurant and wine bar, is evolving into a relaxed, approachable coastal bistro with Mediterranean and French influences while maintaining the polish expected of a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes-recognized property.
About the role
The Restaurant Supervisor at Cuvee Bistro plays a critical role in delivering a refined, approachable coastal dining experience aligned with Relais & Châteaux and Forbes service standards. This hands-on, floor-based leadership position ensures seamless daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and strong team execution. The role requires leading by example, maintaining a strong presence on the floor, and supporting both front- and back-of-house teams in delivering consistent, high-level hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily service with a constant presence on the floor.
- Ensure all guests are greeted, engaged, and recognized in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor pacing, table maintenance, and overall service flow.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Reinforce service standards, appearance, and professionalism.
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of team members.
- Hold team members accountable for attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and coverage throughout service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain communication and execution standards.
- Support POS (Toast) operations, including troubleshooting and accuracy.
- Support initiatives to drive revenue, including wine and beverage sales.
- Monitor check averages and encourage upselling through proper service techniques.
- Maintain awareness of labor productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to Noble House, Forbes, and Relais & Châteaux service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across all areas.
- Support compliance with Massachusetts labor laws and company policies.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a restaurant leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in upscale, boutique hotel or fine dining environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Pay
$25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
Hiring Bonus: $500 paid out in three installments—$200 at 30 days of employment, $150 at 60 days, and $150 at 90 days. This bonus is subject to all withholdings and deductions as required by law.
