What You'll Do
- Open and/or close the restaurant according to established procedures, ensuring the space is guest-ready at all times
- Lead pre-shift briefings to align the team on daily goals, specials, staffing coverage, and service expectations
- Maintain floor operations throughout each shift, jumping in to support front-of-house, kitchen, or counter as needed
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion consistency meet brand standards on every order
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols across all areas of the restaurant
- Manage real-time staffing and labor, adjusting coverage to match volume and minimize unnecessary costs
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, turning issues into positive experiences
- Cook off the floor, providing hands-on support as needed
- Coach and redirect team members in the moment, reinforcing accountability and service standards
- Oversee cash handling, POS reconciliation, and end-of-shift reporting
- Track daily sales performance and flag variances or opportunities to the ownership/leadership team
- Manage inventory par levels, flag shortages, and coordinate with suppliers or procurement as needed
- Review and approve staff schedules, managing shift swaps and last-minute coverage needs
- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members as needed
- Contribute to local store initiatives, community engagement, or social media moments that drive traffic and brand awareness
What You Bring
- Previous restaurant management or leadership experience
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
- Experience managing labor, scheduling, and controlling costs
- Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong communication skills with staff and guests
- Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards
- Nice to Haves:
- Experience in fast casual or high-volume restaurant environments
- Knowledge of P&L, budgeting, and inventory systems
- Experience opening or scaling restaurant locations
- Experience with POS systems and scheduling software
- Social media or local store marketing experience
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
- Experience training managers or building leadership pipelines
