Newk's Manager or Assistant General Manager

Newk's is currently seeking an experienced Manager or Assistant General Manager. Ideal candidates are goal-oriented, team-focused, and ready to lead.

What You Will Do

• Provide direction and motivation to hourly partners, ensuring all positions, chores, and responsibilities are executed to deliver an exceptional NEWK’s Experience and product quality.
• Protect the brand by maintaining a sanitary, safe, respectful, efficient, and cost-effective work environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about the brand and its mission.
• Goal-oriented and team-focused leadership skills.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Some college education preferred.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Some restaurant managerial experience preferred.
• Internal candidates may be considered for promotion to manager.
• Certified Trainer and Shift Lead experience can substitute for management experience.
• Extensive standing required for long shifts.
• Exposure to heat, smoke, and cold environments.
• Ability to work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times.
• Effective communication with guests.
• Carrying trays of food products weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 60 feet.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
