Restaurant Manager

Colony Grill is a nationally recognized Top Workplace and Top Pizza brand, now the Official Pizza of the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and a Proud Partner with The New York Yankees, bringing our famous thin-crust pizza to Yankee Stadium. This role includes managing a Colony Grill restaurant and leading hospitality teams during MLB and MLS home games.

About the role

We are looking for self-motivated leaders with a passion for fostering teamwork and creating exceptional guest experiences. Restaurant Manager positions are available in our DC market locations (Arlington, VA and Cabin John, MD) as well as in CT, NY, and Florida.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall restaurant operations to ensure total guest satisfaction while increasing sales, profits, and brand awareness through excellent execution of operational standards and guidelines.
• Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.
• Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
• Manage performance by establishing, maintaining, and enforcing consistently high standards.
• Lead operational duties to maximize efficiency, productivity, and organization of the restaurant and team.
• Adapt leadership style to various situations and scenarios.
• Supervise, coach, develop, lead, and motivate employees.
• Personify the company mission by demonstrating enthusiasm and warmth toward guests.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and listen effectively to process information quickly and transfer knowledge to others.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality managerial experience, or customer service management or similar role.
• Knowledge of beer, wines, and spirits.
• Beverage management experience, including smart ordering strategies aligned to guest markets.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.
• Experience in new business development and event planning.
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
• Good financial management skills.
• Critical thinking with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Effective time-management skills supporting prioritization and execution of critical tasks.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Pay

Posted compensation: $58,000 to $65,000 per year.
