Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

  • Full availability on nights & weekends, and able to close the restaurant on a nightly basis
  • Ability to manage the front door with the hostess team, ensuring all guests are confirmed and checked-in appropriately
  • Work on marketing initiatives with our marketing department
  • Maintain SOP concerning sales and expenses
  • Lead by example and create an environment where all our team of memorymakers flourish and grow
  • Oversee all facility maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure new team members are properly onboarded
  • Oversee all beverage purchasing to ensure we meet our budget goals
  • Oversee overall staffing to ensure we meet our payroll goals
  • Implement, oversee and maintain all policies
  • Full P & L management. Responsible for overseeing budgets, forecasting and profitability

Requirements

  • Passionate about hospitality
  • Full availability on nights & weekends, and able to close the restaurant on a nightly basis
  • Experience managing a restaurant team
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a restaurant management position
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License
