About the Role
As a Restaurant Manager, you will develop your team through strong, positive leadership and constructive feedback while delivering a great guest experience using an operational excellence model. You will oversee the overall operation of the restaurant according to Dunkin’ and franchisee standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. Embracing a guest-first culture means taking personal responsibility to provide the best service in the industry by delivering quality products, fast and friendly service, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees.
- Communicate job expectations and plan, monitor, appraise, and review employee performance.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and discipline when appropriate.
- Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
- Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed with qualified team members to achieve guest service goals.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure Brand standards and systems are executed.
- Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and guest service standards.
- Complete audits and implement plans to drive system improvements.
- Control costs to maximize profitability.
- Execute in-restaurant marketing promotions and new product roll-outs, including team training, marketing, and sampling.
- Set sales goals and track results.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in English.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Transportation to work, banking (if needed), and attendance at all meetings and training.
- At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry.
