Restaurant Host - Winter Season

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
- Manage seating charts and balance table sections for servers.
- Answer phones and guest inquiries professionally.
- Ensure the host stand and front area are clean, organized, and stocked.
- Prepare restaurant for opening (lights, music, cleanliness, menus, supplies).
- Assist in general cleaning, restroom checks, and stocking as needed.
- Monitor guest satisfaction; resolve minor concerns and inform management of larger issues.
- Maintain a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude at all times.
- Support teammates with communication and cooperation.
- Attend staff meetings and stay updated on daily operations and events.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of local liquor and health codes.
- Valid US Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record desirable.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment.
- TIPS certification preferable, may be obtained after employment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One-year front-of-house experience preferred.

Pay
The base hourly pay below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay/salary range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
Hourly pay: $18/hr
