Job Summary
Live Nation Entertainment is the world's leading live entertainment company, comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. This role is within the HOB (Hospitality Zone) of the House, a venue known for its concerts and events.
About the role
This position involves greeting guests, managing reservations, seating customers, and providing general hospitality services. The role also includes communicating with kitchen staff and managers to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests promptly and courteously
- Control the flow of guests and direct them to appropriate locations
- Estimate and quote accurate wait times for tables
- Show guests to tables and place menus
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs
- Market current and future shows, menu items, and retail
- Communicate wait times, party sizes, and special events to relevant personnel
- Keep host area clean and organized
- Polish and clean entry door windows
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and HOB uniform policies
- Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations and seating procedures
- Diplomacy, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain efficiency
- Basic computer skills, especially in reservation systems and POS
- Previous customer service/host experience preferred
Qualifications
- High skill level in Open Table and/or other reservation software
- Point of Sales (POS) knowledge, preferably MICROS
- Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
